Day 1 : Yangon arrival
Arrive Yangon Int’l Airport. Meet and greet by our
experienced speaking guide and transfer to the hotel.
Start Yangon City Tour including Sule Pagoda, dating
back over 2,000 years ago. Heading to Chauk Htat Gyi
Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image. Complete
your first day in monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda: its
golden stupa is the ‘heart’ of Myanmar. Drive back to
hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Bagan (B)
Morning breakfast at hotel and transfer to Yangon
Airport depart for Bagan by flight (1 & 20 mins). Arrive
Nyuang U Airport and transfer to the hotel. Start visit
to the famous Pagodas and Temples including Shwezigon
Pagoda built by King Anawrahla in the early 11th as a
religious shrine. Annada Temple: a whitewashed
masterpiece of Mon architecture at 18th century,
Thatbinnya Temple known as “temple of omniscience” and
dating from 1144. Free and leisure at Hotel. Afternoon
visit one of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts, a
lacquer ware home industry : near by Myingabar village.
Continue visit to Damayangyi Temple (the massive temple
in Bagan). Experience by local Horse-cart way to
Pyitthagyi Temple (15 mins). Drive back to the Hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Bagan-Salay-Mt.Popa-Bagan (B)
Morning Breakfast at hotel. First visit to Nyaung-Oo
morning market to see people ways of life. Drive to the
banks of the Ayeyarwady River through Chauk, old Burma
Oils installations and pass-through to Kyaukpadaung and
to visit the local market. Continue to Salay, to visit
the Yokesone Monastery, which is the oldest surviving
wooden monastery hall built on 154 teak posts with
beautiful woodcarvings decorating the outer walls.
Continue drive to Mount Popa by car (1 hour drive), and
extinct volcano with spectacular views. It’s shrine is
dedicated to animalist spirits known as “NATS” and will
have to climb 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the
peak. After visit, drive back to the Bagan and transfer
to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Bagan-Mandalay-Amarapura-Mandalay (B)
Morning Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport
depart for Mandalay by flight (30 mins). Arrive Mandalay
Airport and heading to Amarapura (45 mins drive) and
first visit to 200 years old U Bein Teak Bridge, visit
Mahagandayone Monastery where more than a thousand monks
live and study. Continue visit traditional hand – woven
silk workshop and drive back to Mandalay and transfer to
the hotel. Afternoon visit, the famous Mahamuni Pagoda,
the stone carving and later to see gold leaf being
beaten into water thin pieces. Visit the Shwenandaw
Monastery, excellent example of a traditional wooden
building and Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world’s largest book,
made of marble. Enjoy sunset at Mandalay Hill. Transfer
to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Mandalay-Mingun-Ava-Sagaing-Mandalay (B)
Morning Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Jetty and
excursion by local boat to Mingun, upper river from
Mandalay on the Ayeyarwaddy river (Approx : 1 hours).
Visit Mingun Bell: the world largest uncracked bell,
weighing 90 tons and continue Hsinbyume as well as
unfinished Pagada built as one of the world’s largest
cherish by King Bodaw Paya. Continue the boat trip to
Royal Capital of Inwa (AVA) and visit to the impressive
wooden monastery of Maha Aungmye Bonzan, built of brick
and stucco as well as the Bargayar Monastery, famous for
its ornate woodcarvings and teak posts (also known as Ok
Kyaung). After visit, the journey continues Khaung Mu
Daw Pagoda at Sagaing and the Sagaing hills, a retreat
for Buddhist devotes. Drive back to Mandalay and
transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Mandalay-Hoho-Nyaung Shwe Jetty-Inle (B)
Morning Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Mandalay
Airport departure for Heho by flight. (Approx: 30 mins).
Arrive Heho and starts drive down into the valley to
Nyaungshwe on the edge of the Inle Lake : famous for its
unique leg rower; (Approx : 2? hours). Arrive Nyaungshwe
and process to the Inle lake by local boat including
Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Floating Marketing Villages &
Gardens, traditional handicrafts-silk weaving on wooden
handlooms and a blacksmith shop. Transfer to the hotel
and overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Inle-Indein-Inle (B)
Morning Breakfast at hotel. First visit one of the local
markets in the Inle Lake region (on market days by
days). And then, boat trip to the Western Shore of Inle
Lake to the beginning of a stair path leading to the
hidden and unknown Inn Dein Pagoda complex. Return back
to the hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Inle-Nyaung Shwe Jetty-Heho-Yangon (B)
Morning breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Heho Airport
depart for Yangon by schedule flight. (Approx: 1 ? hours
flying). Arrive Yangon Airport and on the way to the
hotel, visit National Museum and Karaweik Royal Barge (A
Royal Floating Barge on the lake for the fantastic photo
view) Afternoon, shopping to the Bogyoke Market(Scotts
Market) with hundred of food, clothes, handicrafts and
gems store. Visit to the China Town and Fruit Market to
see evening life of Yangon. Transfer to the hotel and
leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Yangon Departure (B)
Morning Breakfast at hotel. Free and leisure at hotel
until departure. Transfer to the Yangon International
Airport for the departure flight to your next
destination.
