Day 1 : Arrive Thachileik-Mandalay
Meet and greet by our experienced guide at the check
point of Mai Sai –Thachileik border. After clearance of
customs formalities enter into Thachileik. Transfer to
the Thachileik Airport depart for Mandalay by flight (1
& ? hours flying). Arrive Mandalay International Airport
and drive to Mandalay by car (1 hour drive). Transfer to
the hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Mandalay-Amarapura-Mandalay (B)
After breakfast, first excursion to Amarapura (45 mins),
visit 200 years old U Bein teak bridge built in 1782,
visit Mahagandayon Monastery where more than a thousand
monks live and study. Continue visit traditional hand –
woven silk workshop and drive back to Mandalay and
transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit, the famous
Mahamuni Pagoda, the stone carving and later to see gold
leaf being beaten into water thin pieces. Visit the
Shwenandaw Monastery, excellent example of a traditional
wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world’s largest
book, made of marble. Enjoy sunset at Mandalay Hill.
Transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Mandalay-Mingun-Mandalay-Bagan (B)
After Breakfast, transfer to Jetty and excursion by
local boat to Mingun about 1 hour upper river from
Mandalay on the Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit Mingun Bell:
the world largest uncracked bell, weighing 90 tons and
continue Hsinbyume as well as unfinished Pagoda built as
one of the world’s largest chedis by King Bodaw Paya, by
traditional styled bulldock-cart. Sail back to Mandalay
and transfer to the Mandalay Airport depart for Bagan by
flight (30 mins). Arrive Nyaung Oo Airport and transfer
to the hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Bagans (B)
After breakfast, first visit to Nyaung Oo morning
market. The day will visit to the famous Pagodas and
Temples including Shwezigon Pagoda built by King
Anawrahla in the early 11th as a religious shrine.
Annada Temple: a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon
architecture at 18th century, Thatbinnya Temple known as
“temple of omniscience” and dating from 1144. Free and
leisure at Hotel. Afternoon visit one of Myanmar’s most
treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware home industry :
near by Myingabar village. Continue visit to Damayangyi
Temple (the massive temple in Bagan). Experience by
local Horse-cart way to Pyitthagyi Temple (15 mins).
Drive back to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Bagan-Salay-Mt.Popa-Bagan (B)
After Breakfast at hotel, drive to the banks of the
Ayeyarwady River through Chauk, old Burma Oils
installations and pass-through to Kyaukpadaung and to
visit the local market. Continue to Salay, to visit the
Yokesone Monastery, which is the oldest surviving wooden
monastery hall built on 154 teak posts with beautiful
woodcarvings decorating the outer walls. Continue drive
to Mount Popa by car (1 hour drive), and extinct volcano
with spectacular views. It’s shrine is dedicated to
animalist spirits known as “NATS” and will have to climb
777 steps to the shrine at the top of the peak. After
visit, drive back to the Bagan and transfer to the
hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Bagan-Heho-Pindaya (B)
Morning Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Nyaung Oo
Airport departure for Heho by flight. (45 mins flying)
arrive Heho and drive to Pindaya (Approx: 2 hours) an
interesting drive up into the hills and across the Shan
Plateau through fields of mountain rice. Visit
magnificent Pindaya cave. Continue visit some local
houses where families produce Shan paper and parasols.
Evening stroll along underneath the old Banyan Trees –
which are said over 200 years old. Leisure and overnight
at hotel.
Day 7 : Kalaw-nyaung Shwe Jetty-Inle
After Breakfast at hotel, visit morning colorful local
market. Start drive down into the valley to Nyaungshwe
on the edge of the Inle Lake: famous for its unique leg
lower; (Approx: 2 hours). Arrive Nyaungshwe and proceed
to Inle Lake by local boat and Check-In hotel. Heading
to the middle of Inle Lake including Phaung Daw Oo
Pagoda, floating Market Villages & Gardens, traditional
handicrafts – silk weaving on wooden handlooms and a
blacksmith shop. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at
hotel.
Day 8 : Inle-Indein-Inle
After Breakfast at hotel, first visit one of the local
markets in the Inle Lake region (on market days by
days). And then, boat trip to the Western Shore of Inle
Lake to the beginning of a stair path leading to the
hidden and unknown Inn Dein Pagoda complex. Return back
to the hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Inle-Nyaung Shwe Jetty-Heho-Yangon
After Breackfast at hotel, transfer to the Heho Airport
depart for Yangon by schedule flight. (Approx: 1 ? hours
flying). Arrive Yangon Airport and on the way to the
hotel. Start Yangon City Tour including Sule Pagoda,
dating back over 2,000 years ago. Heading to Chauk Htat
Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image and
Karaweik Royal Barge (A Royal floating Barge on lake for
the fantastic photo view). Complete your day in Myanmar
with an extended visit to one of the world’s most
spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda: its golden
stupa is the ‘heart’ of Myanmar. Visit to China Town &
Fruit market to see evening life of Yangon. Transfer to
hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Yangon Departure
Morning Breakfast at hotel. Free and leisure at hotel
until departure. Transfer to the Yangon International
Airport for the departure flight to your next
destination.
