TOUR ITINERARY - START ANY DAY OF THE WEEK

DAY 1   ARRIVE YANGON
Arrival at Yangon Airport, meet and transfer to the hotel.  Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 2   YANGON - MANDALAY
In morning visit to the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda, Karaweik (Royal Barge), Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha Image), Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda), Mahapasana Cave. Afternoon, continue to visit the National Museum (if open), Sule Pagoda, Botahtaung Pagoda. Transfer to the Railway Station for Mandalay – Overnight on the train.

 

DAY 3  MANDALAY-AMARAPURA-SAGAING
Arrive Mandalay in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Visits Mahamuni Buddha Image, Wood & Stone-carving, Maha Gandayone Monastery & U Bein Teakwood Bridge. Afternoon, excursion by coach to Sagaing by passing Ava Bridge. Visit of Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, Silversmith. Proceed to Sagaing Hill and visit its famous Pagodas. Watching sunset at the top of the hill. Drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 4 MANDALAY-MINGUN BY BOAT
Morning transfer to jetty and enjoy beautiful cruising to Mingun. Visit Mingun Bell (the world-largest ringing bell), unfinished Pagoda, Myatheintan Zedi. Cruise back to Mandalay. In the afternoon, sightseeing to Zegyo Market and continue to Mandalay Royal Palace, Kuthodaw Pagoda (the world largest book), Kyauktawgyi Pagoda. Sunset at Mandalay Hill.

 

DAY 5 MANDALAY-MT. POPA-PAGAN

Depart Pagan by air-conditioned coach to view Myanmar’s remote countryside. On the way visit of Mt. Popa (an extinct volcano). Upon arrival at Pagan, check in to the hotel, and free at leisure for relaxation.

 

DAY 6 PAGAN

Sightseeing to the main interesting sites of the Pagan city – Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Kyansittha Cave & Gubyaukgyi (Wet Kyi-in), Ananda Temple & Oakkyaung, Damayangyi & Thatbyinnyu Temple. Afternoon, visit Pagan Museum (if open). Excursion & enjoy shopping at Lacquerware Home Industry, Abeyadana Temple, Nanpaya Temple, Manuha Temple & sunset at Bupaya.

 

DAY 7 PAGAN – INLE LAKE
Overland drive from Pagan to inner part of Myanmar – Inle Lake to see beautiful countryside. Upon arrival at Inle Lake, transfer to the hotel and free for relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 8 INLE LAKE-PINDAYA-KALAW
Start your Inle Lake sightseeing by boat including Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda – Floating Villages & Floating Gardens. See traditional Handlooms. Drive to Pindaya in the afternoon. Pindaya is famous for its countless Buddha images. Here visit the Pindaya Cave & its Lake before further on to Kalaw, which is a hill station.

 

DAY 9 KALAW-HEHO-YANGON
Morning visit the Kalaw Market to touch the life of the local people. Sightseeing around its surrounding and free at leisure. Afternoon, transfer to the Heho Airport for flying back to Yangon. Transfer to the hotel.

 

DAY 10 YANGON DEPARTURE

Excursion around the city. Free at your own leisure for shopping. Transfer to the airport for flight departure.
