Pet Friendly Destinations Perfect for your Next Holiday

Taking your pet on holiday with you is great especially when so many consider our pets to be members of the family. Why wouldn’t we want them to enjoy the time in a new exotic location as well as the rest of the family? However, with some destinations, the process of bringing your animal into another country can be difficult and there are a number of forms and vaccinations that need to be done before it is allowed in some cases.

If you have already decided on a destination I would recommend that you start looking into the details and requirements for bringing your pet very early on in the planning process, as this will help you to avoid being told it is not possible with little notice to make any changes. The process of bringing your pet on holiday with you can also be very stressful for them also, with the long journey being confined to a pet carrier away from the family which can be very upsetting for your pet.

If you are worried about your pet when traveling to another country you may be interested to learn about some of the new CBD products, which are designed specifically for your dogs and cats. You can now buy cbd dog treats, which when given before a flight or long traveling session will help your pet to relax and can even encourage them to get some sleep through the journey. Many users have said that their pets seemed to be much more relaxed and subdued in what would otherwise be a stressful environment for them. These treats are very safe and affordably priced so if they are going to keep your pet in such a way that the journey is much more relaxing for them I would say that it is worth a look.

              Spain

Spain is a hotspot for family holidays for many reasons, if you are traveling from the UK it is not a significantly long flight that is going to cause you and your pets even more stress than is needed. Once you have got the journey out of the way you and your loved ones including your pets are free to enjoy the long and beautiful beaches and the overall high energy environment that is present in many popular Spanish resorts, there is plenty to do here for both human and animal making it worthy of your consideration for your next big vacation.

              Netherlands

Much like Spain if you are looking for a location that doesn’t need a huge flight to get there then the Netherlands would be the perfect destination for your next holiday, the flight is relatively short meaning that your pet should be okay with joining you as they will only be confined to their carrier for a short period of time. The Netherlands has many popular tourist attractions for you to see as well as wide stretches of nature-filled land where you can take your dogs for a nice stroll in the hot weather.

              France

The final destination on this list that could be considered to be pet friendly would have to be France, which is very popular with tourists visiting the region every year. You could even get the ferry over to France which is more affordable and pet friendly as in some cases they are able to walk around the boat in certain areas. If you want to bring your pet to France there is plenty to keep them occupied as long as you research your chosen destination to ensure that the things you want to do are accommodating to animals also.

How to Pack for Erratic Weather While Travelling

Now that the world is starting to open up its borders, everyone is excited to go back on holiday. However, global warming has made the weather quite unpredictable this year and even if you believe that you are heading to a sunny destination, you can still be hit with a thunderstorm out of nowhere. The weather is extremely erratic and so you should pack in a way that means that you won’t be caught out by the erratic weather.  Here is how to pack for erratic weather while traveling.

              Waterproofing

We can all deal with a little bad weather when we are away, but there is nothing more annoying than our belongings getting wet when we don’t have access to our usual washer and dryer set up.  This is particularly annoying if you are backpacking, as you spend a lot of time with your personal belongings. We recommend purchasing a waterproofing setup. This setup should include a waterproof caught, a bag cover, and some waterproof pants. This should keep your belongs dry and keep you warm, which is what you need when you can’t just easily send your items to dry,

              Thick Clothing

As well as worrying about your items getting wet, you also need to think about keeping yourself warm. There is nothing worse than catching an illness when you are on holiday, especially something like a cold. We recommend getting yourself a mens bomber jacket black, as this will keep you warm and also go with any outfits that you may have packed.

Many people forget just how big of a difference a good pair of thick socks can make when you are on holiday, as it not only keeps you warm but it protects you from getting horrible blisters, so be sure to pack some for your next holiday.

              Sunglasses

With the weather being so erratic, even if you purposefully travel to a colder destination, you could still fall victim to a quick shift in weather. When traveling to snowy locations, people quickly forget that the sun can still shine and will get in your eyes when you are going about your daily activities. We recommend that you pack a good pair of sunglasses that have good UV protection and just keep it in your bag. This way you will be able to simply take them out whenever you feel as though you need them.

              Hats and Gloves

It is understandable that you will not want to spend your holiday wearing a thick coat and warm clothes, especially if you have events to attend or places to go. The very least that we recommend if you don’t want to ruin your outfit is bringing a hat and glove set. This will keep the heat in your body insulated, so you don’t have to worry about falling victim to the cold weather when you are on your holiday. We also recommend a scarf, as this will only increase the warmth you feel.

How to Find Comprehensive Travel Insurance in 2021

Now that the world is opening back up, you may already be looking into booking your next holiday. It has probably been quite a while since your last holiday abroad and you may have forgotten some of the usual steps that you have to take before heading on holiday.

Something that you shouldn’t forget is the importance of travel insurance, especially with what the state of the world currently is.  The most important thing is making sure that you are covered and you don’t lose any money that you may have put into the holiday. Here is how to find comprehensive travel insurance in 2021.

              Follow insurance leads

If you are someone that is eager to find an insurance company to cover you on your next holiday, you should consider following a lead to find a reliable company. Luckily lead generation in todays age is very frequently used and is a great way to find dependable travel insurance that you can trust.

Leads usually come about because they are popular and many people have chosen to use them and if this is the case, then this usually means that the travel insurance company is a company that you can trust.

Look at how much the insurance covers

When you are looking for an insurance company to use for your holidays, the first thing you should look at is the costs that medical insurance should be able to cover. If you are travelling in the EU, then the cover should be no less than 1 million in case of emergencies. If you are travelling somewhere in the US, then this insurance should be no less than 2 million, as medical expenses cost much more there.

If the travel insurance that you are looking at offers less than this in terms of medical cover, then you should avoid using that insurance company as you simply will not get the insurance that you need and if the worst then happens, you will not be covered.

              Cancel Cover

With the crazy state that the world is currently in, there is every chance that your plane can be cancelled at the last minute. Every day countries are opening and closing their borders and so any holiday that you book is not completely secure. In order to make sure that you are not losing out on any money, make sure that you pick travel insurance where the cancellation cover exceeds what you could potentially lose. Say your holiday cost you one thousand to book, make sure that you have the cover of at least two thousand to ensure that you will get your money back when you need it.

A lot of insurance companies will try and undercut any costs that you may have spent on your holiday, so be sure to make sure that your interests are protected.

Make sure that your baggage is protected

Something else that people often forget about is their luggage. When you go on holiday, there is a big risk that some or all of the luggage that you take with you may be damaged or lost.  Your insurance company will not be able to retrieve your lost items, but they will be able to offer you cover.

It is recommended that you don’t take anything too expensive on holiday with you due to how common baggage loss is, however sometimes it can not be avoided. If your insurance company offers less than 1.5k worth of cover then you should avoid going with that company and instead look for one that has you completely covered.

The Travellers Guide to Planning the Perfect Summer Holiday

As the world is beginning to return back to its previous state, more and more of us are starting to get excited for our summer holidays. Many of us didn’t get to leave the house last summer, let alone the country. For those of you that have been deprived of your holidays for more than a year, you are bound to be excited.

Due to the fact it has been so long and there are new laws surrounding travel, you may also be concerned about any additional planning that may have to go into your holiday. These days it isn’t as easy as just booking a plane ticket and jetting off,  so in order to ensure that your holiday is successful, you need to get your planning right.

Though you need to show a little caution with your holidays this year, you can still find the time to have lots of fun.  Here is our guide to planning the perfect summer holiday this year.

Check the opening dates of countries

Right now, we are limited on which countries we are able to visit. This is because many countries have had their borders closed for some time in order to prevent the possible spread of Covid. As the world is beginning to become more vaccinated, more and more countries are starting to open up.

You are unable to book a holiday to a country unless it has announced that its borders are open, so be sure to keep on top of which countries are becoming accessible. It seems as though most countries will be open by August, so be sure to mark the dates on your august 2021 calendar templates. People will be in a rush to book holidays once they know that they can, so be sure that you swoop in and get the good deals first.

              Go all-inclusive

If you want a holiday without stress, we recommend that you go all-inclusive. Deciding to go all-inclusive will save you a tremendous amount of money and time spent planning. Sometimes when you venture into a new country, it can be intimidating and even frustrating to find a place to eat, especially if you are someone with children.

Deciding to go for an all-exclusive holiday means that you will be able to sit back and relax as all of the food and drinks are already taken care of. Going all-inclusive means that you can really indulge yourself without having to worry about a hefty bill on top of your already expensive holiday

Unfortunately, many countries are asking visitors to remain within their holiday resort as much as they can, so if you go all-inclusive you can sit back and enjoy what your resort has to offer.

              Visit a couple of places

If you are venturing out into the world for the first time in forever, then why not make the most of it. If you are going to a brand new country, why restrict yourself to one city? Most countries that you visit will have public transport set up to specifically help tourists venture to a few places. Not only will you be able to experience travel in a new country, but you will be able to expand what you are going to see

You never know when you will return to whichever country you decide to visit, so it is important that you make the most of the time that you do spend there. If you get the chance to speak to any locals, they can also give you traveling recommendations.

Snowy Holidays: How to Pack and Prepare for the Cold

When it comes to beach vacations, we are all familiar with what we need to pack. From sunglasses to flip-flops, it is pretty easy to work out what you will need in order to enjoy the sun. However, when it comes to snowy holidays, it isn’t as straightforward. When we go on holiday to colder destinations, we are conflicted between wanting to look good while we are away and not wanting to freeze. This can make packing your bag quite confusing, as it can be easy to overpack or not take enough to help you combat the cold.

We are more than familiar with how difficult deciding what to pack can be, so worry not as we have put together some of our best preparation tips for your next holiday to a cold destination.

              Socks, plenty of socks

One of the most underrated things that you can pack when you are going on a cold holiday is a good pair of socks. If you are going to a snowy location we recommend that you overpack when it comes to socks. Depending on the activities that you are doing on your holiday, you may experience snow getting into your shoes. This can lead to your socks getting wet, which could result in you getting cold. So because of this, you will want to ensure that you can quickly change your socks whenever you may need to. We recommend that you bring both thick and thermal socks, as these will keep your feet well insulated which will help regulate your body heat. It can also get cold at night, so be sure to pack some thick and fluffy bed socks so that you can stay warm while you are in bed.

              Thick hat

A hat is arguably just as important as your socks. Both your feet and your head are key players when it comes to regulating heat, so to ensure that you are able to stay as warm as possible, you should make sure that you bring a thick hat with you. Something that people often forget when they go on holiday to somewhere cold is the cold breeze, this cold breeze can hit places that you may not even think about, like your ears. This can lead to discomfort, so if you have a hat you will be able to cover up your ears.

              Thermals

Thermals will become your best friend when you are on holiday to a cold location as they can be thrown under almost all of your clothing. Some people don’t enjoy going to a cold location and having to wear thick and unflattering clothing, especially if you intend on socializing with people and going to events. If you plan to go skiing, then you will also really appreciate the use of thermals. When you go skiing, you may wonder what you should wear underneath ski pants. The best thing that you can wear is a thick pair of thermal leggings. This is because they will not restrict your movement or make you uncomfortable, they are also extremely comfy.

              Thick jacket

Again, a lot of people make the mistake of choosing fashion over practicality when it comes to going on holiday. We completely understand, when you go away there is no better feeling than looking good. However, do not compromise your body heat in favor of looking good when you are away as you will just ruin your experience. Be sure to pack a thick and padded jacket when you go away, as this will help to maintain your overall body heat.

The Best Destinations to Visit in Southern England

I think it is time to face the fact that it is unlikely that we are going to get the chance to travel out of this country this year. Most of us have already canceled any holiday that we have had planned for the year and prepared ourselves for another summer of really getting to know our garden. However, this doesn’t need to be the case. With travel restrictions starting to ease, you will be glad to know that by summer you will be able to travel around England without having to worry about being subjected to some sort of fine.

With our newfound freedom, it can be overwhelming to decide where we are going to holiday this year. To make it a little easier on you, remember that you aren’t going to be able to travel to all of the sunny destinations that you are used to. So, where is the sunniest place in England? The south. The south has a long list of beautiful beaches and exposure to the sun, but where are the best destinations to visit in the south?

              Cornwall

Perhaps one of the most popular southern holiday destinations in Cornwall and there is no wonder why. Cornwall has one of the highest amounts of clear blue sea and beach combinations in the entire country. Temperatures get extremely high throughout summer, which makes those of us who are not able to leave the country, remember what it feels like to enjoy some fun in the sun.

Cornwall is also extremely tourist-friendly. Not only are there plenty of hotels for you to stay in, but you are also encouraged to get out there and explore all of the beautiful nature that can be found within Cornwall. One of the most popular ways that Cornwall is explored during the summer is via caravaning or even camping. Due to just how hot it gets, people don’t have to worry about being cold, and instead, they can focus on enjoying their surroundings.

              London

Though you may not think of London to be anything more than a busy urbanized city, it is still one of the best southern holiday destinations that there is. London offers something to cater to pretty much everyone’s taste. If you are someone that loves history, then you are bound to have a great time because London is packed with hundreds of years of culture.

London is a vast city, which many people seem to forget. Because of this, you can also access some beautiful examples of nature, as well as some of the best beaches in the entire country. London itself is also extremely beautiful and has a rich history of architecture that intertwines with one another. All of these amazing examples of architecture are only expanding as the years go on. For example, there is currently infrastructure being developed by the Property Block that promises to shake up the London skyline, so what is the harm in taking a trip down south to go and check it out?

              Brighton

Brighton is another one of those places that you have definitely heard of it, but it is unlikely that you have taken the time to visit. Brighton is the gay capital of England and for somewhere to earn this name, it must be a spectacular place to visit.

Not only does Brighton provide some of the most beautiful beaches that you can find in the country, but it also is very reflective of all of the unique people that have decided to make Brighton their home. If you are someone that enjoys shopping or even window shopping, then you have to go to Brighton. Brighton is full of many wonderful and colorful people and this is reflected through the shops that they own. Walking through some of the more famous shopping districts is like walking through a rainbow of bright colors and unique produce.

Brighton also houses the Pavilion, so if you are someone that really admires beautiful architecture, then you really need to visit the pavilion. The pavilion is a former royal residence, which only hints at the beauty that can be found within the building itself.
